I totally agree! Country’s not so bad.
I hate heavy metal. They’re just really obnoxious, loud noises to me.

And I like the Sirius Black analogy.

yeehaw.

seriously, country is awesome. if you’re looking for good stuff, check out toby keith, sara evans, vince gill, and martina mcbride. or maybe even try some bluegrass (a related music genre) like nickel creek or alison krauss.

and yes, country has a bit of an upper hand in certain things. given, it also has some very strange themes that are common to it. but, you’ll never hear the phrase “Christian country”. people talk about Christian rock, Christian pop, Christian rap, but people singing about Jesus with a little southern drawl is just plain country.
