About

Nice of you to drop by my website! My name is Larry Lin, and I am passionate about connecting the gospel to current events and social issues, mobilizing the church to serve the poor and disadvantaged, building bridges of reconciliation, writing about faith and culture, songwriting and recording, looking random things up on Wikipedia, making lists and graphs, watching basketball, following the stock market, composting, experiencing new things, discussing politics and world events, and trying to play the devil’s advocate with everybody.

I work for the One America Movement, a nonprofit seeking to equip faith communities to confront division and work together across political, racial, and religious divides, and I also serve as a pastor at Grace Life Church in Catonsville, MD. I previously worked as a campus minister with Cru in the Washington, DC area and as a pastor at the Village Church in Baltimore, MD.

I currently live in Baltimore with my wife Van-Kim and two kids, and I have degrees from Cornell University and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. If I haven’t met you yet, I look forward to meeting you.
